Nikolaas nodded "So do you get a headache every time you use your power?" he asked curiously, he knew some powers had backlash. Adriaan's did. He's youngest brother had spilled everything to him about his power. Nikolaas didn't really have a backlash from using his power. Which he always saw as a good thing. He had seen when some kids who turn up to the uni learning to control their powers, some have really bad backlashes.

Simonette shrugged. "That one has only presented itself twice." She said quietly, she thought for a moment and then nodded. "But both times yes, I've had headaches after it." She sighed.
"Nothing near as bad as the ones who get hit with it though." She let her voice dropped, thinking about the repercussions of the anger her friends had layed on her by accident.
They'd all ended up needing to go to hospital, maybe she should call an ambulance for the men who tried to take her and kill Nik... They might need help.

Nikolaas raised an eye brow "They get headaches?" he asked, he was glad those bastards were getting what they deserved then. He looked at his arm and then looked at her "How long did your headache remain for last time?" he asked curiously.

Simonette immediately felt guilty after he'd asked his question. "You know, maybe we should call for help for them." She said quietly.
She was scared for them, she didn't know the full capability of that power, she barely knew what it was, let alone what it did to its victims.
She couldn't remember how long it had lasted last time, so she shook her head and shrugged. "Last time, it put my family and friends in hospital." She whispered.

Nikolaas frowned, he wasn't sure they should call for help. Afterall they just shot at him. Thought about killing him. But then Nikolaas remembered, he was better then to hold grudges against people who didn't know better in life. He sighed and nodded, spotting a phone booth a little way away "I've got some coins" he smiled.

Simonette could feel his reluctance, and she certainly understood and shared it, but, she knew the damage she could have done them.
If they came to and tried to drive while still having headaches it could be dangerous for them and others, if they even woke up at all.
"Maybe we can report them to the police too." She added, hoping that he'd feel a little better at that suggestion. She saw the phone and smiled in relief.
"Thank you Nik." She said gently.

Nikolaas smiled gently at Simonette, he didn't feel like reporting them. To much paper work and then when they went to examine the wound... what was he going to tell them when he disappeared and re-appeared? "Here, just call them an ambo" he smiled getting out the coins and handing them to Sim as they got to the phone booth. He's wound was numb but Nikolaas tried not to think about it. He had taught himself by doing that, he could move pain to the back of his mind.

Simonette moved into the phone booth and looked at the coins in his hand, she held her hand out for him to put them in the palm and then turned and put them into the phone with a sigh.
She couldn't really think about how it was for him, not being able to touch people, it must have been terrible to him and his family.
She made the call and hung the phone up, turning back to him and smiling a little. "Thank you." She said quietly.

Nikolaas had to admit, seeing her smile was something that made his pain go away “Let’s get you home before something else happens, yeah?” he smiled with a bit of a chuckle. He couldn’t imagine why anyone would want to take Simonette but she would have to be careful now. He didn’t want anything happening to her “How’s your headache?”

Simonette laughed a little at the thought of something else happening to her and nodded. Her mind felt like she should take his hand before they started to walk, but she knew that wouldn't work to their advantage.
She smiled a little and shrugged. "Dismiss able." She said quietly. "It wasn't too bad." She added. She glanced at him as they started to walk again and bit her lip. She really wished she could do something about his wound. "How's your shoulder?" She asked quietly.

Nikolaas nodded at her words and then looked at his wound "It's alright, still painful but I think it's stop bleeding" he smiled looking at her.
He looked around as they walked "So, how far is your place?" he asked looking at her with a gentle look. She was such a beautiful girl "Do we need to stop for water and supplies?" he joked.

Simonette grimaced but then smiled a little as he said it had stopped bleeding. At least that was something, she thought.
She licked her lips and looked up from the ground to see where they were. "Another two blocks around that corner." She said quietly, pointing before them at a corner. She smiled at his joke and shook her head. "No, no supplies needed now, unless you'll need them to go up a small hill." She had a slight teasing tone on her voice.

Nikolaas put on a real thinking look "Hrm... maybe" he laughed then shaking his head "I think I'll manage if you think you can" he grinned as he walked next to her. He wished he was able to touch people. How he would love to hold her hand or something. Anything.
