Rules

1. Stock standard basic rule of RP, no power playing or god moding. Controlling someone else's characters, and acting like your character is perfect. It's really annoying and deters other players from joining in with you. If there are fights, you can't dodge every attack or land every punch you throw. Some characters have gifts, but they have weaknesses and strengths, they are not invincible or immortal.

2. On this board we RP in third person in past tense. Spoken parts are shown in "these"(quotation marks) and thoughts are shown in italics like this! This is to make the posts easier for everyone to read.

3. Please try and post at least two lines for your responses. We don't expect you to roll off line after line of awesome writing, but trying to reach over three lines and a decent paragraph isn't that hard. If you want help, feel free to ask!

4. Common courtesy for role playing on this site or any site- Ask permission from characters if you have a plot that involves them, this means love, adventure and or danger.
Do not modify posts once another player has replied. Before a player has replied is OK, but not after a player has replied.
Do not always be the hero or the victim, this is incredibly annoying and will discourage people from rp'ing with you.

5. No Spamming. If we find stupid annoying pointless messages anywhere they shouldn't be we will delete them. It's OK to ask people to join in plots, and to role play with you in the OOC board or the chat box, but please don't push people, they often don't like it and will not RP with you because of it.

6. Signatures - No taller than 500px and no wider than 700px and thats that, now thats plenty of room for a lot of pictures!

7. You can have 3 characters per account, but, so long as you keep active you can have up to 4 accounts, which makes 12 characters. Just don't make them all the same sex, similar personalities or powers, just make them different!

8. DO NOT fight OOC. It is not cool, we can all write, so I presume we can all be grown ups and use our manners, if there are any OOC fights, inform the admin and we will deal with the issue discretely.

9. Warning you now so you cant complain later; there is no need for any mature sexually orientated threads on this board. We think highly of all our members and we hope that you understand that there are players of all ages. If you wish to RP mature things (namely sex) then take it to PM or IM's, on the board these events "fade to black".

10. When your character profile is accepted it will be locked, if there is anything wrong with it, you will receive a PM from one of the admins.

11. Don't go crazy with your powers. I mean, having a character with powers like super-strength and visions are ok, but don't have it so they're like "I can pick up this school with one hand" and "I can immediately see every move my enemy's going to make before they do"

12. It is important that you read all these threads before you make your character; The history and the plot, The laws of the gifted, the taken celebrities, and the powers list.

And to make sure you are up to date with the site please check the suggestions board for stickied threads written by admin members.
